Stella by Ikatee is a sweet paper pattern for a blouse or dress with shoulder ruffles.
A charming outfit with a loose fit and either long sleeves or sleeveless version.
It can be made as a top or a knee length dress and features front and back side yokes where the feminine ruffles fit into.
Back opening with a button and binding at neckline (and armholes for the sleeveless version).
There is an option for the dress to be lined depending on main fabric

What you will practice with this sewing pattern:how to sew a back opening with button and loop, how to sew ruffles, how to sew a bias binding at neckline.
Material suggestions:
- Main fabric:
Cotton poplin, light twill, double gauze, lightweight denim or chambray, linen, viscose
(stick to lighter weight fabric rather than thick ones to make gathering easier)
- Optional Lining Fabric:
Cotton poplin or polyester. The lining may necessary if your main fabric is a little transparent for any season or too light for a fall/winter season.
No need for lining with the blouse.
