Cadal is the Scots and Irish Gaelic word for sleep.

The Cadal Pyjamas are a classic, comfy set designed for sweet dreams and cosy nights. There are 2 views: a long-sleeve top with full-length bottoms (A), and a short-sleeve top with shorts (B).

The top features a relaxed raglan sleeve, made in jersey fabric for a soft, comfortable fit. The bottoms cab be sewn in with woven or jersey, making the set perfect for mixing fabrics, playing with prints and making the most of your fabric scraps.

View A also includes ribbed cuffs at the bottoms hem for extra comfort. Whether you’re lounging at home or setting in for the night, the Cadal Pyjamas are the perfect mix of classic style and everyday comfort.

SEWING LEVEL: Beginner Friendly

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: The Cadal top is made using 4-way stretch t-shirt weight fabric, which is also known as single jersey. We would recommend cotton jersey. Tubular ribbed fabric is recommended for the neckband (for extra stretch), although you can use the same fabric as the rest of the top.

The bottoms are made using either woven fabric or single jersey. Cotton or double gauze are a good option for woven fabric. The hem cuff of the trousers should be made in tubular ribbed fabric.

SIZE CHART & FABRIC REQUIRED:The Cadal Pyjamas have a relaxed fit, perfect for lounging. Double check the finished garment measurements, paying close attention to the height, waist and hip measurements. The pattern has a lengthen and shorten line in the body to allow you to alter the size to suit.
