The Davenport Dress is the perfect throw-on and go dress. Whether you’re shopping at your local farmers market or hanging out around the house, this ruffley dress will have you feeling cute and comfortable. It features full sleeves with an elastic ruffle hem as well as a shoulder flutter detail. The hem hits above the knees. The front neckline is gathered in with elastic, and the waist features a drawstring so this dress can be pulled on and off without any closures. Most importantly, the Davenport features roomy pockets that are perfect for stowing away all of your treasures. This pattern is suitable for all skill levels and we will take you step-by-step through the sewing process.
Skill Level – Intermediate
Size Range – sizes XS/0 – 7X/32 (32”/81cm -60”/152cm chest).
Recommended Fabric – The Davenport Dress is designed for woven fabrics. It is suitable for light to mid weight fabrics. Fabrics like cotton lawn or linen will make this a great dress for spring and summer! If you want it to be a bit fancier it can be sewn from a silk or something with a bit of drape.
Important Info
We aim to represent our products as accurately as we possibly can, however due to varying screen settings colours may differ slightly. If you are unsure about the colour or quality of the fabrics then please order a sample.
We sell our fabrics in half metre increments. Please select your desired amount from the required length drop down menu. Your fabric will be cut in one continuous length.
Occasionally we may need to contact you regarding products in your order. Please make sure you enter your correct contact details at the checkout to avoid delays.
Delivery & Returns
Whilst we aim to process orders as speedily as possible, during busy periods it could be up to 3 working days to have your order ready to ship.
Once you receive an email notifying you that we have finished processing your order that means that your parcel is on its way.
We send all orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Fabric is cut to order to your required length. We are therefore unable to accept returns for cut fabrics, unless faulted.
