Didi introduces a few fun sewing techniques to explore. The back slit with a button closure, the gathers with an overlapping waistband, and of course, the decorative pleats on the sleeves, which make this design a real showstopper. This pattern is guaranteed to bring you sewing joy!

For the sleeves, you can choose between a long lantern sleeve with decorative pleats or a short sleeve with a single pleat. In other words, Didi is a year-round staple! We’ve included two length options: a blouse and a dress, allowing you to create multiple pieces from just one pattern.

Fabric Advice

Didi is perfect for structured yet easy-to-handle fabrics such as poplin, linen, chambray, and other crisp woven materials. Thick fabrics are not suitable, but a light denim or baby corduroy can definitely work. The short-sleeve version also looks beautiful in softer, drapier fabrics.
