Product Details

This gorgeous matt black stretch fabric is an ideal choice for creating your own activewear or swimwear garments – durable, perfectly opaque and fast drying, it is great for swim, yoga, gym, dance, running and more.
Manufactured in Italy and printed in the UK, this robust Lycra is ultra chlorine resistant, has excellent UV protection, is resistant to pilling and has perfect fit and shape retention qualities.

We sell our fabrics in half metre increments. Please select your desired amount from the required length drop down menu. Your fabric will be cut in one continuous length.

Occasionally we may need to contact you regarding products in your order. Please make sure you enter your correct contact details at the checkout to avoid delays.

Delivery & Returns

Whilst we aim to process orders as speedily as possible, during busy periods it could be up to 3 working days to have your order ready to ship.

Once you receive an email notifying you that we have finished processing your order that means that your parcel is on its way.

We send all orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Fabric is cut to order to your required length. We are therefore unable to accept returns for cut fabrics, unless faulted.

Used this fabric to make leggings. My coverstitch machine didn’t want to play nicely with it but the material itself is great. It overlocked well, very minimal curling, nice weight for leggings and I could see it working well for swimsuits and other kinds of activewear. It seems very opaque and good amount of four way stretch, I estimated around 50-60 % but I didn’t this measure incredibly accurately as I was sizing up a bit anyway. Recovery was excellent. I’d be interested at this great price to buy other colours.
