The Hinterland Dress offers a timeless, comfortable, and elegant silhouette. Featuring three sleeve lengths, full, half, or placket-free options, customisable length, and inseam pockets, this is a pattern workhorse that spans the seasons.
The fit of the Hinterland Dress is loose, with side bust darts and a gathered skirt with optional waist ties, and is easily modified for maternity and nursing. Don’t feel like buttons? Cut the front bodice on the fold for a placket-free look. You might consider lengthening the bodice and hacking it into an adorable cropped top, too!
SKILL LEVEL:This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. You will learn how to sew bust darts, bias facings, inseam pockets, button plackets, and inset sleeves.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: The Hinterland Dress is designed for woven fabrics. Look for mid-weight linen, silk noil, cotton ikat, and light- to mid-weight chambray or denim. Note that if you want to extend the skirt length beyond the provided midi length, you will need to purchase extra fabric. Additional fabric is also required if you have a directional fabric or will be pattern matching.
Important Info
We aim to represent our products as accurately as we possibly can, however due to varying screen settings colours may differ slightly. If you are unsure about the colour or quality of the fabrics then please order a sample.
We sell our fabrics in half metre increments. Please select your desired amount from the required length drop down menu. Your fabric will be cut in one continuous length.
Occasionally we may need to contact you regarding products in your order. Please make sure you enter your correct contact details at the checkout to avoid delays.
Delivery & Returns
Whilst we aim to process orders as speedily as possible, during busy periods it could be up to 3 working days to have your order ready to ship.
Once you receive an email notifying you that we have finished processing your order that means that your parcel is on its way.
We send all orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Fabric is cut to order to your required length. We are therefore unable to accept returns for cut fabrics, unless faulted.
