1st For Fabrics Ltd is a family business established in 2000, supplying all types of fabrics to a large variety of customers, from the discerning home dress makers to costumiers, photographers, theatres, TV companies, budding/ established designers, schools, colleges and universities.

Our outlet in Newcastle upon Tyne, stocks 1000's of fabrics for you to choose from, whether you are a first time dressmaker or an experienced seamstress, we will have a fabric to suit your requirements. We pride ourselves on offering a huge, exciting and invigorating range of fabrics in a kaleidoscope of colours patterns and textures allowing you to create a unique look for your garments.

Many of our customers travel very long distances to visit us – and you know we are always very pleased to see you – but now you can also visit the shop from the comfort of your own home.
